a study on various techniques on graphical password authentication. A key area in security research is authentication. Access to system is mostly based on the use of alpha numeric passwords. User felt difficult in remembering the password as that is long and randomly selected and how many passwords will user remember?, it made a complex procedure. It presents comparison between Persuasive Cued Click Point Graphical Password scheme and Improved Persuasive Cued Click Points. One such category is click-based graphical passwords where a password is composed of a series of clicks on one or more pixel-based images .To log in, user re-select their click-points in the correct order. Click-points that fall within some acceptable tolerance of the original points should be accepted by the system since it is unrealistic to expect users to accurately target individual pixels.

Abstract This being the era of fast, high performance computing, there is the need of having efficient optimizations in the processor architecture and at the same time in memory hierarchy too. Each and every day, the advancement of applications in communication and multimedia systems are compelling to increase number of cores in the main processor viz., dual-core, quad-core, octa-core and so on. But, for enhancing the overall performance of multi processor chip, there are stringent requirements to improve inter-core synchronization. Thus, a MPSoC with 8-cores supporting both message-passing and shared-memory inter-core communication mechanisms is implemented on Virtex 5 LX110T FPGA. Each core is based on MIPS III (Microprocessor without interlocked pipelined stages) ISA, handling only integer type instructions and having six-stage pipeline with data hazard detection unit and forwarding logic. The eight processing cores and one central shared memory core are inter connected using 3x3 2-D mesh topology based Network-on-chip (NoC) with virtual channel router. The router is four stage pipelined supporting DOR X-Y routing algorithm and with round robin arbitration technique. For verification and functionality test of above fully synthesized multi core processor, matrix multiplication operation is mapped onto the above said. Partitioning and scheduling of multiple multiplications and addition for each element of resultant matrix has been done accordingly among eight cores to get maximum throughput. All the codes for processor design are written in Verilog HDL. How to Measure RTOS Performance – Colin Walls In the world of smart phones and tablet PCs memory might be cheap, but in the more constrained universe of deeply embedded devices, it is still a precious resource. This is one of the many reasons why most 16- and 32-bit embedded designs rely on the services of a scalable real-time operating system (RTOS). An RTOS allows product designers to focus on the added value of their solution while delegating efficient resource (memory, peripheral, etc.) management. In addition to footprint advantages, an RTOS operates with a degree of determinism that is an essential requirement for a variety of embedded applications. This paper takes a look at “typical” reported performance metrics for an RTOS in the embedded industry.

Created by Mozilla Research in 2012 and now part of Linux Foundation Europe, the Servo project is an experimental rendering engine written in Rust. It combines memory safety and concurrency to create an independent, modular, and embeddable rendering engine that adheres to web standards. Stewardship of Servo moved from Mozilla Research to the Linux Foundation in 2020, where its mission remains unchanged. After some slow years, in 2023 there has been renewed activity on the project, with a roadmap now focused on improving the engine’s CSS 2 conformance, exploring Android support, and making Servo a practical embeddable rendering engine. In this presentation, Rakhi Sharma reviews the status of the project, our recent developments in 2023, our collaboration with Tauri to make Servo an easy-to-use embeddable rendering engine, and our plans for the future to make Servo an alternative web rendering engine for the embedded devices industry.
