The Cross Church School of Ministry provides a one-year residential program to train ministry students, similar to a medical residency. Students gain experience through mentorship, national and international missions trips, and exposure to Cross Church's mission. The program covers housing, tuition, and other costs, though students are encouraged to raise funds through sponsorships. 2. Introduction
 Pastor Ronnie Floyd, past president of the Southern
Baptist Convention, made it his life’s mission to prepare
ministry leaders and advance the Gospel all over the
world. With his commitment to evangelism, Dr. Floyd
established the Cross Church School of Ministry.
The Cross Church School of Ministry complements
theological education through a one-year residential
ministry program. Similar to how doctors undergo a
residency, the Cross Church School of Ministry believes
that students of the ministry should also undergo actual
field training. Students anywhere between post-high
school academic training and post-seminary may enter
the School of Ministry to gain insight into a career in
teaching the Gospel.

3. Cross Church School of Ministry
 Throughout the program, students will learn from a
personal mentorship by a ministry member, two
national missions, one international mission, and
exposure to the mission of Cross Church.
Program costs include all aforementioned activities
as well as housing, tuition, and ministry tracking.
Cross Church highly encourages students to raise
funds through sponsorships and donations from
people who support their calling and mission.
