Recommendations (For national
governments and EU decision makers)
Student mobility subsequently enhances labor
mobility!
Therefore European policy makers & stakeholders
should support international mobility by:
• Ensuring funding
• Institutional support
• Early promotion (e.g. "Erasmus in Schools")
• Timely and adequate information provision
ESNSurvey 2011 | Speaker
Recommendations (For national
governments and EU decision makers)
Encourage the use of mobility programs as a tool
to enhance employability, personal
development, enriching societies and creating
European unity and citizenship.
Simplify procedures for students and graduates to
work abroad. Where applicable, visas
requirements and residence permits should be
designed to facilitate access to a traineeship
experience abroad.
ESNSurvey 2011 | Speaker
Recommendations (For national
governments and EU decision makers)
Implement new support services for graduates
who move abroad and help them with legal issues
and provide essential information. University
career services should be open towards
international job offerings.
Environment related behavior changes according
to availability: we recommend schemes of
adapting best environment practices from our
neighbors in Europe.
