6. Anarkali The evening got off to a great start with a few lively sets from Anarkali.
7. Caroline Greene School of Irish Dancing A 16 hand interpretation of W.B.Yeats Poem ‘The wild swans of Coole’. A breathtaking display. One of the highlights of the evening.
8. Irish Minstrels CCE 31 musicians led by Frank McArdle, including several All-Ireland Champions, gave a spell binding performance of Irish traditional Music. The performers were only a selection from the 200 young people who attend the free lessons in Irish music each Tuesday night in St Roch’s Secondary Royston rd.
11. The Friel Sisters The Pride of the Glasgow Irish These girls are proud of their Irish Heritage and demonstrate how a culture is passed from one generation to the next –even in exile.
12. St James the Great CCE 18 musicians all under 12 played a seamless selection of various types of Irish music
13. The Parting Glass The evening ended with a sing song led by Michael Sweeney and the Parting Glass
