Sacha Dratwa joined the World Jewish Congress in the autumn of 2016, to lead the newly formed Counter-Delegitimization of Israel Unit. Sacha founded the Israel Defense Forces’ New Media Operations, and was responsible for building the public strategy and branding of the IDF on social media, developing a program for new media tools in case of emergency, and managing communications crises experienced by the IDF during incidents including Operation Defensive Shield, Operation Protective Edge, the Iranian missile ship, and more.
