When schools are only putting pressure on the left side of students brains, what happens to the right
side? The left side of our brain is about analytical thoughts, whereas the right side of our brain is about
creativity. The real world needs both sides of our brains to work, but schools are only training our left
side and letting the right side deteriorate. School is killing creativity by the systems of mass education,
the fear of being wrong in class, and cuts in creative classes. For instance, Horace Mann used the
entire brain with intellectual and moral education which is something we are lacking in today.

Schemas are important validation tools which can ensure data is valid and well formed for use. There
are different varieties that can be used to verify a document and ensure conformance to standards.
Some use a tree hierarchy and others just simple constructs. Lee and Chu (2000) note the following in
their paper; DTD, XSD, SOX, Schematron and DSD. Fawcett et al (2012) mention Schematron, DTD,
RELAX NG, and XSD. I will discuss some of these in comparison to DTD and XSD which are follow
ons from this week s Schema discussions.
DTD
This Schema type on uses attributes and elements and follows a hierarchy in structure type. It is very
simplistic and uses few attribute definitions, and does not follow XML type syntax. However, despite
its simplistic nature, it is the most widely used standard according to Lee and Chu (2000).
XSD
The true XML Schema Definition is very different from DTD in that it can be very granular in its
descriptive elements and follows XML syntax rules. This can make it very powerful, in its support of
namespaces and true data types, allowing for better conformity and use in data transformation and
query. Another strength of XML Schema is it inheritance, which can simplify some reuse of attributes
and combining of Schema documents. Its weakness goes hand in hand with its strength as the
complexity it allows for causes confusion by all but the most advanced users according to Fawcett et
al (2012).

In Malawi the major sources of water for both domestic and industrial use include lakes, rivers and
ground water. Ground water is dependable for supplying water in rural areas and also in some urban
areas even though this source of water is most common in the rural areas. In some urban areas, the
major source of water are rivers. According to Government of Malawi (2010), many river basins are
under severe pressure resulting from deforestation, settlements, climate change, industry, mining,
commerce and unsustainable agriculture. These have consequently impacted negatively on the water
quality mainly due to sediment loads, industrial wastes, chemicals from agriculture and proliferation
of aquatic vegetation. In urban areas, especially areas with high concentration of people, the major
problem has been management of waste disposal. This has resulted in plastics that are just littered
anyhow in the major urban areas including Blantyre ending up in rivers. Ground water though viewed
as one of the safe sources of water, there are also a number of quality issues that are associated with it.

The Greatest Day Of My Life
Everyone needs some form of escape from reality. While this varies from person to person, with the
entertainment business booming, it is safe to infer that many find their comfort with movie theatres.
Many of these people like to be engulfed by the story of their movie. My escape, however, comes
from just being inside the theatre. There is something magical about theatres that keeps bringing me
back. The first time I vividly remember going to the movies was when the second Harry Potter movie
released. I finally watched the first movie on our brand new DVD player and read the four books that
had been released. When the Saturday came to go to the Edwards in Irvine, I woke up extra early to
make terrible pancakes for everybody (this is also a time when I wanted to be a chef). I begged my
parents to take to me to the nearby 7 11 to buy all the candy that we were going to sneak in the theatre.
I knew that this was going to be the greatest day of my life. While I know now my parents were
