The proteins are also added to a Laemmli sample buffer in order to give each protein a negative
charge so it is able to get pulled through the polyacrylamide gel. The next step is to put the gel
into the electrophoresis module and to run it. It is run until the proteins have almost reached the
bottom of the gel. A blue tracking dye is added to the Laemmli sample buffer in order to track
the distance in which the proteins travel through the gel. If it is run for too long, the proteins

another group did in the class to get my data. From their gel I was able to compare the different
species. Table 1 shows the number of bands that were similar between the different fish species

character a hopeless romantic introvert nobody really cared about outside of his family. Then
there is Yunior your typical dominican player jock. The story tells the short life of oscar and the
terrible things he went through narrated by Yunior. From heart breaks to suicide attempts to
murder it tells it all. In The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao Yunior and Oscar are polar
opposites. Their opposites run deeper than what is just on the surface. Also Diaz set the
characters up the way they are to show how different they were. First, picture this Oscar meets a
girl named Ana, she is giving him all her time they are together almost everyday going on dates
spending a lot of time together. Then there is Ana s ex boyfriend Manny he comes back in town
after being kicked from the Army. Manny and Ana get back together Oscar and her start to spend
