Challenges and Opportunities • Encouraging students to participate more fully in discussion sessions • Getting students to understand the value of archives/manuscript collections in society • Using social media and collaborative tools • Showing students examples, providing readings, etc., without using up paper 9
Final Thoughts • Talk to former students about their experiences in taking online courses • Encourage students to ask questions as topics are presented • Provide feedback to students promptly • Encourage students to complete course evaluation “Yes, I call this teaching.” 10
