One of the strongest principles of WLCI’s model of education is to prepare the students for the industry. Therefore, Industrial visits is a vital part of the curriculum. On the 14th and 15th of March, 2013, an industrial visit was planned by Nutan Ma’am and Shiraz Ma’am, stalwarts of the Fashion Dept. to help the students understand more about how things are done in the fashion industry. During the course of 2 days, a total of 14 students aimed to understand the workings of Hakoba embroidery, production and usage of beads, rhinestones etc on garments and other products, Saree printing and Raschel and Warp Knitted Fabrics and Laces.
