12. About Carcará’s Founder, Zack Henry
► 15 years of experience in Latin America.
► Six years as Toyota’s dedicated Latin America economist; managed small, “in house”
strategic research group that advised top management in Japan, the US and Latin America
on topics including Latin American economics, commodity market trends (oil, steel),
biofuels, & trade developments.
► Four years in Puerto Rico’s public sector—two in the Office of Governor Pedro Rosselló &
two as Special Assistant to the president of the island’s Government Development Bank
(work focused on privatization in various industries).
► Educational background
» MBA, Insead (Fontainebleau campus)
» MA, The Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies
» BA, Amherst College (earned Academic All American honors—soccer)
► Fluent in Portuguese, English & Spanish.
► Married to Brazilian citizen; resides in São Paulo.
