CAUTION
Due to the design of the floating blade mechanism,
ALWAYS store the peeler in its plastic case with the
protective sock over the floating blade housing.

2. Operating Instructions:
1) Determine which direction the peeler needs to
travel. Left to right, or right to left. Peeler will
be rotated in direction of arrow.
2) All stainless bearings should spin freely. If not,
remove and clean. Keep bearings and bushings
free of debris. Caution: Do not use petroleum
based lubricants on the bearings or blade, as
these can contaminate the fusion area on the
pipe.

3. 5) Apply rotating pressure ONLY to the knobs, in
the direction of the arrow.
Caution: ALWAYS apply even pressure to
both knobs. Never rotate peeler by only one
knob.
3) Attach the peeler on the pipe by hooking the
latch around the shaft on opposite end, and
locking the handle down.

4. Note: Ensure narrow “guide” section of frame
is mated inside wider section of frame
beneath latch mechanism as pictured below.
Caution: make sure the entire width of the
blade is in full contact with the pipe.
Caution: Make sure all six bearings are making full
contact with the pipe surface.
4) The peeler is designed to travel down the pipe
as it is rotated. It will always travel following
the direction of the arrow on the side.
Caution: Due to the design of the rotary peeler,
when peeling from the end of the pipe there will
be 0.1 ~ 0.2 inches of non‐peeled pipe surface. This
area at the end of the pipe will be in the cold zone
of any manufacturer’s fitting.
