1. CELEBRATING SILVER JUBILEE OF IUBAT
According to Professor M.Alimullah Miyan

Good morning everyone
It’s my great honor and privilege to talk about silver jubilee of IUBAT. I would like to convey my
warm greetings to our honorable faculty and my followers
SPECIFIC PURPOSE: To inform how will we celebrate our silver jubilee and in this 25 years what
we achieved and how will we gone through this year.
CENTRAL IDEA: The completion of twenty-five years is indeed a major milestone in the life of an
educational institution. IUBAT, since its foundation in 1991, has earned very considerable
appreciation for providing value-based education and for imparting the ideals of academic
excellence, sense of discipline and high moral and ethical values, leading to the development of
integrated personalities
MAIN POINT : International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) the first
private university of Bangladesh has completed 25 years. It is a great achievement for all the
faculties, stuffs and Founder and Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Dr. M. Alimullah
Miyan. In these 25 years IUBAT has achieved a lot. Our universities get known throughout the
world. It had already signed a contract with Open University MOU. Recently two of our CSE
mates successfully secure 2nd
position of hachathon competition.
The silver jubilee has been celebrated by our university with great enthusiasm and enjoyment.
The Vice chancellor has decided to celebrate the whole year (2016) for the silver jubilee. He
has also decided to decorate the whole university in a new way. A fountain is going to be made.
Our university has organized so many programs and in the upcoming time we will celebrate
many more functions. The celebration started with the 25th
birthday of IUBAT at 16th
January. A
Milad was held at cox’s bazar. Then different community of IUBAT had organized many more
functions.
IUBAT JAGUARS has organized “Pitha Uthsob”at 31st
January. As it was winter they organized a
function where different group of students came with their stall of “pitha” which are very

2. common in the winter. It was a competition also. There were judges who decide the winners.
Three groups won 1st
,2nd
and 3rd
prize.
On the 7th
February IUBAT IT SOCIETY has celebrated 25th
year of department of CSE. They
started the ceremony with cutting cake. The whole field was decorated nicely. Then they
continue the program with flying lantern and balloons. After that cultural program was also
held.
After that IUBAT GOLD had organized function at “Pahela Falgun”at 13th
February. They
arranged a “Mehedi” competition. VC sir also joined that function. And they had brought out a
rally and the whole university wears a festive look. CADD CORE GROUP had arranged drawing
competition for the students and also cultural function.
At 14th
February cultural function was held at lemon lime. And a photo session contest was also
organized at that day. At 15th
February IUBAT BLUES celebrated kite flying ceremony. VC sir
himself flies kites with the students.
Now we all of looking forward to what surprise is waiting for us. For the purpose of silver
jubilee our honorable vc sir will arranged a concert for both faculty and students.
CONCLUSION : I once again express my gratitude to my honorable faculty for providing me with
this opportunity to talk about the celebration of silver jubilee of IUBAT.I hope your cordial
presence and cooperation will continue till the end of this celebration.
