2. Open Email Templates
Open “Email Templates” to start designing your email templates.
3. Create a New Email Template
- Click “New HTML” to create a new HTML email template.
- Input the name of the new email template.
4. Import Templates
If you already have an HTML template, you can import it into 1and1Mail.
5. Download Templates
Or, you can download existing webpages on the Internet as your
email templates.
Tips: Search “email templates” on Google and you can find lots of free
email templates that you can download directly into 1and1Mail.
6. Edit Templates
Click “Edit”, and you can edit the template in WYSIWYG mode
(Design) or source code mode (Code).
7. MIME Mode
It is highly recommended that you turn on the MIME mode and
input a plain text version for your HTML email template.
(It can significantly boost your inbox placement rate)
8. Insert Personalized Text
Insert Macro Text to personalize your emails for each recipient.
(The Macro Text will be replaced by each recipient’s personal info when the email is sent.)
9. Insert Links and Images
You can insert hyperlinks and images into the HTML email template.
