it is made by
Nastya Kurskaya,

village Pasegovo ,
Kirov region
2. As forAs for
pastpast
The village Pasegovo was
formed about three hundred
years ago. We know two
versions of an origin of the
village’s name. The first
version came from a word “to
conquer”. The second version
came from the priest Sega. He
lived in the village and was a
bee-keeper.
3. As forAs for
pastpast
The area of the village was 35
square hectares. Pasegovo had
only 7 houses before the
Revolution. The population was
over 30 people. There was a
shop, a school for boys and a
school for girls in the village. The
village began to grow after the
Great Patriotic War. The
collective farm was organized in
Pasegovo. The first director of it
was M. A. Kovalenko.
4. As forAs for
pastpast
More than hundred years ago
my school stood in the suburb
of the village. Before the
Revolution it had got only three
forms. There were three
teachers there. The school was
for the children from rich
families. After the October
Revolution it was changed into
the seventh form school and
thirteen teachers worked there.
5. Our school worked during the Great Patriotic War. There were two
forms: the 5th form and the 7th form. The pupils were taught
Russian, Literature, Germany, Geography and so on. There were
only 30 students at school. A part of our school was a war hospital
for children from a blockading Leningrad.
We have not forgotten about this war, we visit veterans of the war
and labour, we invite them to Class Hours and holidays, meetings
and so on.
6. Our school todayOur school today
The name of our principal is
Kochurova Olga Alexandrovna .
There are 28 teachers and 252
students at our school. Traditionally
we begin a school year on the first of
September with a holiday assembly
and the First Bell.The11th formers
go to a war monument to put flowers
to remember those who has
presented us the peace.
The second tradition is the Day of
Health. Once a month we have a
sport holiday together to have a fun.
7. Our school todayOur school today
The next tradition is “the Avenue of
Memory“. During the winter we
clean snow around the monument
and in the day of Defender of
Fatherland we light candles for
those who defended and defends our
Motherland.
A spring is a hard
time. We have a traditional Day of
Earth. You can see pupils here and
there, cleaning streets. We gather
litter and clean a local river and a
school forest.
8. School organizationSchool organization
There is a pupil organization in
our school. In the past it was the
Pioneer Organization named after
Pavel Sadakov
( he is The Hero of The Soviet
Union).
Today we have the same
Organization. It is “the Unity of
Kind Hearts”.
9. As forAs for
futurefuture
I hope, that in the future my school
will have a lot of students. We shall
have a school uniform .
My school will be rebuilt, every
classroom will have its colour and
some computers. There will be a lot
of flowers, some armchairs to rest,
some tables to play games, some
vitamin food to eat during the
break.
10. As for futureAs for future
We shall have a cozy café
with new dishes and fresh
flowers. New subjects will
appear at school: dancing,
music and deep learning of
some subjects.
The best students will get
scholarships for good marks
and school activities.
I want my children to study at
this school.
11. As for futureAs for future
My school will stand here
even in the 22nd century.
New teachers will work and
new students will study. We
shall be proud of our school
forever.
