psychographics) to target customers in your industry/profession that you would like to
pursue after graduation. As a rreminder, Demographics are things like age, gender,
ethnicity, education, occupation, geography, etc., and Psychographics are things like vegan,
golfer, fitness enthusiast, jazz enthusiast, etc.In the first lecture we discussed the
importance of creating “composites” which are an identical mix of demographics and
psychographics shared in a smaller group of people. This means that every person in this
group shares the same demographic and psychographics you are using to create your
composite.You are going to create two different composites for a product (goods, services,
or experience) that is sold by the business/organization you are working for after
graduation. You should use the same product for both composites.I expect you to be specific
and thorough in your strategy developing your composites and include as much detail as
possible within the word limit for this paper. Use as many demographics and
psychographics as you feel are necessary to illustrate your point (4 is the bare minimum for
each one of your composites), but be sure to justify each demographic and psychographic
variable you select individually as it relates to this strategy. This justification is important
and I will not let you slide by and make unsubstantiated claims. This being said, don’t try to
bite off too much here. If it’s a big organization with lots of different products just focus on
one product or a specific line of products.For example, if you are interested in the Phillies
then focus on ticket sales for a specific theme night, corporate club box sales, or a specific
merchandise item, but not all three of these categories at the same time. If you are
interested in cosmetics or beauty, focus on one line of products and don’t take on an entire
company like Estee Lauder. If you are interested in real estate, use one property you may be
selling and not an entire town/area.The whole idea is to select a specific product and take a
deep dive into the segmentation strategies for that specific product.Remember, this is all
