I am entering a nursing program in August 2023 with plans to begin my career as a labor and delivery nurse. After completing the program, I intend to commit 4 years to my local hospital and later earn a Doctorate in Nursing. As a single mother, a scholarship would help decrease my loan debt and allow me to further contribute my time and resources to mentoring at-risk girls through a non-profit organization. A scholarship would greatly benefit and support my educational and career goals in nursing.
