Caucasian twenty-two-year-old female with a newborn baby. She has lived in Tennessee
much of her life up to the age of thirteen. She graduated high school and was on and off in
college majoring in criminal justice however has not returned due to the stress of raising
her baby. She is unemployed however lives with her fiancé who is employed and provides
for the family however sometimes it is not enough.Prompt 2My participant recognized the
target behavior because she understood it was something that could be remedied and
controlled. The target behavior is the number of soda’s consumed per day. My participant
has always favored soda and frowned upon drinking water. Due to constantly being busy
with her baby and sometimes struggling to have an adequate amount of food in the home
soda is her resort for sugar and an alternative to eating. It is common for my participant to
consume as many as 3-5 soda’s a day.My participant took the time to recognize the target
behavior. She has spoke with me and developed an idea of what needs to be done to work
on the behavior and create the result of lowering the amount consumed daily. She wants to
start drinking other beverages such as water which are healthier. She recognizes that the
target behavior can be damaging to herself. As the individual who would be involved with
the research participant, I would observe the daily amount of soda consumed throughout
the next few weeks and determine if there is any change or fluctuations.Prompt 3In 3-5
