Hi, my name is Bart Lorang. I’m the CEO and Co-Founder of FullContact, and we are the API that keeps contact information current. Along with my co-founders Dan Lynn and Travis Todd, at our last venture we solved Big Data problems for large enterprise customers. When we started our next venture, we decided to tackle one of the biggest data problems of them all: contact information. It’s a problem SO BIG, that nearly EVERY business in the world faces it every day!
...and they come .... in all shapes and sizes, across many different industries and verticals. These developers are incorporating the FullContact API into their applications and building some really exciting things. Let’s take a look at a few apps that have been built.
Next up: Highrise CRM Autocomplete, powered by the FullContact API. Highrise is one of the top small business CRMs available today, and it’s recognized for its user friendly features.
Here in Highrise, I have opened a contact. Let’s say I want to update this person’s information. I simply click “Edit this Person” .. Then, up at the top, I click the “AutoFill” link. And just like that, through the power of the FullContact API, this partial contact ... becomes a FULL contact. No tedious data entry or additional keystrokes required. Sales, Support and Marketing professionals absolutely LOVE this. And we do too.
Here’s a partial contact - this one just has a name and an email address. Partial contacts are everywhere: on the web, social networks, in people’s address books and CRMs. And these partial contacts have different levels of completeness -- some have photos, some have titles, some have links to profile pages. Some have good data, and some have bad data. FullContact receives a stream of these partial contacts, and then intelligently creates a complete, full contact. Automatically
We then verify each piece of information is publicly available before we provide to our customers for use.
This leads me to another key differentiator: our approach to privacy. FullContact takes privacy very seriously. We're building FullContact to provide clarity, control and value to the consumer. We make it incredibly easy for consumers to see, edit and control their information and whether or not that information gets passed on to others.
FullContact is also different because of our goto market strategy. We are all about DEVELOPERS, DEVELOPERS, DEVELOPERS, DEVELOPERS, DEVELOPERS, DEVELOPERS, DEVELOPERS! (clap hands like Ballmer)
Since we launched a few months ago, over 650 developers have signed up to use our API.
Our pricing is simple to understand. Developers can get started for 3 cents per contact record, and we give Developers $50 Free Credit on signup.
As developers migrate to production environments and want flat pricing and enterprise level support, we also support monthly plans, starting at $300 per month for up to 10,000 contact updates per month. At the high end, we are currently negotiating deals with a few companies that want access to more than 10 million monthly contact updates and are willing to pay us north of $20,000 per month for this privilege.
We are FullContact. We provide an API to software developers to solve the world’s contact information problem, once and for all.
I'm Bart from Full Contact, and I'll leave you with this: Life is a contact sport, so you might as well make it FullContact.
