• In this task there will be some pictures of major
events that have happened in the past.
• Look at the events and think what happened
• Choose 2-3 pictures write about your interpretation
and understanding of the event or do a voiceover of
your interpretation of the event
• For voiceover use Quicktime new screen recording to
record your voice. (make sure the microphone is on)
• Ask yourself “What was the event?” and “How do I
know what happened?”

• What was the event?
• the event was called ‘hong kong opium war’ it was when
the british people came to Hong Kong to destroy them, but
instead of killing them, they gave them opium. Opium was
a type of (bad) drug that makes you feel weak and sleepy.
• how did I know about the event?
• In grade 2,I went to a museum for a field trip and ,Ms.
Meyer, my teacher,told the whole class about the opium
