Singapore, November 28th, 2013 – Marina Bay Sands of Singapore has been selected as
this year’s winner in the first Partnership for Social Impact Awards, organized by AmCham
Singapore. Of the 16 organizations who applied, Marina Bay Sands was the winner for its
community programmes, hiring practices, training and mentoring programs, which have
created employment opportunities and improved livelihoods for target beneficiaries in
Singapore. These initiatives are demonstrated by the company’s impactful partnership with
Metta School and the Singapore Association for the Deaf.
AmCham Singapore is the largest foreign business chamber in Singapore. It represents over
25 billion Singapore Dollars (around 15 billion Euros) in investments in Singapore and the
