This document discusses Embraco's development of a high efficiency supermarket cabinet for the Australian market using natural refrigerant R290. The cabinet features a plug-and-play refrigeration system that provides easy installation and maintenance while achieving low energy consumption compared to standard cabinets. Test results show the cabinet complies with Australian energy efficiency requirements and consumes less than half the energy of standard cabinets. The integrated refrigeration system reduces installation time and costs while eliminating refrigerant leaks and specialized maintenance needs.
