DEVELOPMENT MILESTONES
 Founded in 1961
 In 1997, the School was upgraded to be
the College of Labour and Social Affairs
and.
 In 2005, the College became the
University of Labour and Social Affairs

 Nearly 80,000
students were
trained to provide
qualified human
resource for the
sector of labor,
invalids and social
affairs as well as the
country for last 55
years.

MISSION AND VISION
 ULSA provides society with high-quality
educational and research products;
particularly in economic, labour and social
fields; contributing to the human
development for the industrialization and
modernization of the country as well as its
international integration.
 ULSA strives to become a leading
educational institution in labour and social
areas in Vietnam.

FUNCTIONS AND TASKS
 Provide nationwide training programs:
 undergraduate and postgraduate
students
 international standard orthopedic
technicians;
 Enhance the professional capacity of
governmental and other sector staff;

relevant to the socio-economic
development requirements of the

TRAINING LEVELS AND SCALES
 ULSA offers a flexible arrangement of both
full-time and part-time training to meet the
needs of students:
 PhD
 Master degree: 2 years
 Bachelor degree: 4 years.
 Vocational training: 2 years
 Orthopedic technologists: 3 years

FACULTIES AND STAFF
 ULSA has 3 campuses in Hanoi, HCMC
and Son Tay (40 km from Hanoi)
 ULSA has around 800 faculty
members and staff, 15% of whom
hold titles of professor and associate
professor and PhD.

3,500 – 4,000 new students at different
levels.
 Currently the University has 18,000
students studying at different
