I certify that I have known Mr Abdelmonaim SAHRAOUI as a graduate student at
the Department of Geophysics, USTHB, Algiers. My teaching consisted of Basic Seismology.
He was among our best students. Under my supervision, he presented a micro-project on the
fault interaction involving Coulomb Stress and Focal Mechanisms. After that, he performed
his final graduation presentation in Geomechanics and Sonic Processing.
He got his Diploma in Geophysics in June 2010, with a 16/20 grade.
I confirm that Mr Abdelmonaim SAHRAOUI shows a great aptitude to tackle
scientific problems.
I strongly recommend him to the PhD position in Geomechanics. His participation
will certainly enrich his knowledge and have a positive impact on his research activities.
