2. Some of my duties and responsibilities included operating and performing maintenance
on three 180,000 GPD Water Purification Units, Distribution systems, and additional
water equipment. Enhanced standard operating procedures for a water team consisting of
17 SCW skilled workers, five KBR ROWPU Operators as well as supporting the water
purification Supervisor.
• In depth knowledge of operation and maintenance 180,000 GPD ROWPU Units.
• Operated and controlled Electric motors, pumps and valves to regulate of raw
water into ROWPU.
• Installed and maintained distribution system, and additional water equipment
valued in excess of over $500,000
• Monitored panel board and adjusted controls to regulate flow rates, loss of head
pressure and water elevation and distribution of water.
• Tested water samples to determine acidity, impurities using conductivity meter
,colorimeter for FAC,, turbid meter,PH, Temperature, NTU, TDS and Bacti test
(coli form).
• Mixed Chemicals like Chlorine, Antiscalant, Hydrochloric, Acid, Citric Acid,
Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Hypochlorite, Calcium Hypochlorite, and coagulant
according to MSDS.
• Depth knowledge of Laboratory jobs.
• Adjust valves to regulate water through filter beds to remove impurities.
• Record data, such as residual content of chemicals water turbidity and water
pressure.
• Operated treatment plant machines and equipment to purify and clarify water for
human consumption and for industrial use.

KBR operational procedure and scope of work pertaining to ROWPU site.

Set up Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Units for the US Army in Camp Anaconda,
Iraq. Supervised the operation of six water purification units and trained 30 sub contract
workers .Ones set up and training was complete transferred to camp spicher,Tikrit,and
Mosul to set up 6 additional Italveco Units each capable of producing 180,000 GPD.
