Job Responsibilities
Litigation /Arbitration.
Centralized management of pan India litigations and legal operations of units and subsidiaries spread
all over India.
To update management by maintaining MIS and ensure trimming of unwanted litigations.
Co-ordinate and brief external counsels to prepare legal strategy.
Take charge of strategizing and drawing line of actions for pending recoveries & commercial
settlements.
Invoke arbitration clause, appointment, proceedings and execution of arbitral award.
Consumer case handling at district, state and national forum and ensure trimming by settlements.
Compliance / Industrial and Employee Relation.
Ensure compliance with policies and Indian employment laws, disciplinary proceedings, grievance
case management.
Resolve and contest trade union matters, long term wage settlement agreement.
Drafting/Contract Management
Drafting legal documents and in-house drafting of plaints, writs, appeals, affidavits and reply to show
cause notices.
Provide legal support strategic and transaction related issues and draft domestic and international
contracts.
Finance/Audit and Sales
Financial impact analysis of pending litigations for assessments of contingent liability and provisions.
Assisting Financial & Commercial team about legal impact & implications in transaction/commercial
issues.
