A VARIETY OF HOME MADE ITEMS.
Introduction:
 To help people sell the products online which they make at home but are not
able to sell it to the market.
 Help them find the market for their products.
What need it satisfies:
 The need for this is that this will help many households who have talent in
making something like some craft art, good unique recipes or something like
that which they are then not able to sell or it is very difficult for them to sell it to
the market.
 Through the online website they can now easily sell it in the right market for
their product.
Problems that will be solved:
 The problem of lack of market will be solved.
Components of the
business model canvas:
1. Customer segment:
 Though this business model idea may seem like most of the online shopping
websites like amazon.com, flipcart.com, etc. but the main difference between
this both of it is that those websites are built for the buyers of the products
whereas this idea focuses on the sellers who are not able to sell their products or
face difficulties while selling it.
 This will help the sellers of the products to find a good and appropriate market
for their products.
2. Value proposition:
 The value delivered to the customers is that they get to sell their products at a
higher base.
 The range of products is very wide for the customers with different abilities and
skills or talents. Ranging from food recipes to craft art, paintings, etc.
3. Key activities:
 It is a platform where people can sell their products in the appropriate market.
The key activities of this business model is to fill up the gap between the sellers
and the market.
 To collect the products from the sellers and deliver it to the buyers.
4. Key resources:
 The key resources that are required by this business model is a proper website
which is very easy to operate and use.
 Also logistics management is the key resource for this business idea.
5. Channels:
 The distribution channel used for this business model will be currier services or
self-home delivery in some cities where the buyers and customers are of same
place.
 The same as most of the online shopping sites does.
6. Partnerships:
 The key partners in this business model will be the person with the business idea
and finance, then the one who handles and manages the website.
 Then comes the sellers who want to sell their products.
 Then comes the logistics team.
 These are the key partners of this business model.
7. Customer relationship:
 Maintaining healthy relation with customers is the key part of any business you
do. Providing proper faster services to the customers.
 After sales services, and taking the customers grievances into consideration.
 Proper communication between the buyer and the seller.
8. Cost structure:
 The first and foremost cost will be incurred will be the building of a proper, easy
to use and operate website and also maintaining it.
 Then comes the cost of logistics, which includes collection of information,
acquiring the good from the sellers, delivering it to the buyers.

 The main revenue stream from this business model will be the commission
charged from the buyer and the seller for providing them the platform for
exchange.
 Mode of payment can be online as well as COD.
Major challenges perceived:
 The major challenge that will be faced in this business model will be of logistics.
 Collecting of the products from the seller and delivering it to the buyers in time.
 Also the issues of return and exchanges can be faced.
Major risks perceived:
 The risk of customer dissatisfaction will be the biggest risk faced in this business
model.
