Weiber manufactures an array of gemological instruments for the analysis of gems & stones. These gem
testing meter comprises Chelsea filter, Dark field loupe, Diamond tester, Dichroscope, Diffraction grating
spectroscope, Gem test kit, Hand held polar scope, UV lamp. Gem testing meters are devices that are used
for various research and general applications in the field of testing gems and stones. These equipments are
extremely helpful in identifying certain red, blue and green stones.
Chelsea Filter
Weiber's Chelsea Filter is ideal equipment for enabling the
transmission of deep red and yellow-green light (best obtained under
strong electric light).
Weiber's Chelsea Filter has just to be held close to one's own eye and
make observations from the stones for further processing. Multiple
stones can be viewed at once.
Dark Field Loupe
Weiber Dark field Loupe is a small instrument that provides 10 x
magnifications as in a standard loupe, with an important added
feature of being combined with a specially constructed area that
enables you to view a gem against a black background with strong
lateral lighting. This is called dark field illumination, the reason why
this instrument is called a dark field loupe.

Weiber's Diamond Tester / Selector ideal equipment for
distinguishing between the real and fake diamond and shows the
result of measurement with help of 2 kinds of sounds and 3 kinds of
colors LED.This state-of-the-art tester is simple but precise, giving
the user a quick "true / false"reading. Housed in a high impact
plastic case, it is everything one needs to test diamonds in rapid
succession , whether mounted or un-mounted.

Gem Test Kit
Weiber designed Gem Kits include an array of equipments for
various gems testing applications. These equipments include
Hand held polariscope, Diamond tester, Dichroscope, Chelsea
filter, Prism Spectroscope, Dark field loupe and many more.
These testing equipments are available in standard
specifications and can be customized as per the customization
mentioned by customers.
Hand Held Polariscope
Weiber's Hand Held Polariscope can be ideally used to test rough
gemstones or cut rough gemstones. Allows two polarising filters to
observe the structure and optical properties of precious stones or
minerals, it can also be used in identifying Moissannite and detecting
strain in diamonds. Our equipment is used with a thing called a strain
less sphere, (that is a glass sphere with no strain lines in it,) or a
loupe. This equipment of ours visually shows if a stone is doubly or
singularly refractive and its optic sign. It will also show strain and
twinning, which will occasionally help to distinguish between natural
and man made materials.

New Led Light Source
Weiber's multi-use desktop LED lightis ideal for a variety of
purposes but is ideal for use with a Refractometer (our model RHG900, DGR-800 and RHG-600) polariscope or darkfield loupe. The
light is composed of 5 white LED bulbs - this lamp is very bright.
Lamp is powered by three AAA batteries. Our equipment is
compatible with our separately listed hand held polariscope with
torch, hand held dark field with torch and the gem tool kit containing
these items.
Polariscopes
Weiber's Polariscopes are used to swiftly, accurately check if
gemstones are single or double refracting, in a simple way. Our
equipment is very useful in identifying Moissanite and detecting
strain in diamonds and other gems. This equipment of ours is also
used to separate synthetic amethyst from genuine. This desktop
instrument has a built in light source.

Prism Spectroscope
Weiber's Spectroscope is ideal tool of the modern gemologist.
Our equipment is particularly suitable the infrared or near infrared
spectroscopes.
The prism spectroscope is based on dispersion. The light enters
through a narrow slit (some models allow you to adjust the width
of the slit) and is then dispersed through a series of prisms. Some
models have an attachment with a built-in scale.
