• As Canada’s premier professional organization for physical and
health educators, PHE Canada advances physical literacy through
various programs, resources, and tools, including: Passport for Life;
Move Think Learn; the Fundamental Movement Skills series.
Coaching Association of Canada (CAC)
• The Fundamental Movement Skills of throwing, catching, jumping,
striking, running, kicking, agility, and balance and coordination, form
the basis for future sport skill development and for the life-long
enjoyment of physical activity.
• Participants learn how to observe and improve the fundamental
movement skills through the format best suited to the participant and
their line of work.

Gymnastics Canada
• National Sport Organization for Gymnastics, a foundation sport for
early movement development. PL programming delivered in
gymnastics clubs across Canada and with GCG programs like Move
Your Body.
• GCG Foundations-Intro NCCP trains coaches to deliver movement-
based programming that supports development of PL.
60 Minutes Kids Club
• Free program that supports students and
schools with Physical Literacy and Health Strategies
• The suite of tools support delivery and tracking of healthy
behaviours, and fundamental movement skills, to students 5-12
years old.

• A national initiative created to help parents give their children the right
