What is the point of a Chief Data/Analytics Officer? If you're in one of the many fields currently adopting this role, you've almost certainly heard this question; maybe you've asked it yourself, or maybe you're in the process of answering it within your company. But whether the CDO and CAO are roles that have existed in your industry for years, or they're just being established, creating value from your data is something that every industry will soon have a need for.
In this panel, four C-suite data and analytics professionals share the stories of how they reached the point that they're at today - and how their roles have changed along the way. Join Larry Shiller (CDO, Rising Stars Foundation), Ben Donlon (CAO, Metro United Way), Ash Dhupar (CAO, Publishers Clearing House), and Chris Hutchins (VP and CDAO, Northwell Health) to gain hard-earned insights into what the CAO, CDO, and CDAO roles entail - and how you can create and move into these roles within your organization, if they aren't already there.
You'll learn:
- What it takes to be a successful CDO/CAO
- How to leverage data to overcome organizational inertia
- Why the CDO and CAO roles are becoming increasingly crucial in the modern age
- Key challenges faced by high-level data professionals (and how to overcome them)
And more!
