Beginners Guide to TikTok for Search - Rachel Pearson - We are Tilt __ Bright...
What's On - Kids & Families - Sept/Oct
1. At the Library, we encourage curiosity, questions and discovery. We
believe a curious mind knows no limits.
This Fall, we are encouraging all kids in
Grade 3 to get a Curiosity Card. This
is an exclusive Library card kids will get
when they visit the Library with their
class between Oct. 14 and Nov. 14.
Teachers can book a visit which will
include giveaways, games, stories and
much more!
Encourage your child’s teacher to book a class visit. Every child
that attends will receive a special bag with lots of fun goodies. Of
all classes that visit, we will draw three Grand Prizes of a visit with
local author Cary Fagan, and free books for students and the school
library. For more about Cary, visit www.caryfagan.com.
You will need to ensure your child is signed up for a Library card
before the class visits the Library. Details will be sent home by your
child’s teacher in September. If your child already has a Library card,
they can bring it with them and exchange it for a Curiosity Card.
A library card costs nothing, and opens up a world of
books, resources and imagination for your child!
We would love to hear what your child is curious
about. Send us an email with a sentence that says
what your child is curious about, or why they love
the library, and they might be featured on one of our
posters or on our website!
Email libraryinfo@ajaxlibrary.ca with the subject line “I’m curious
about…” and make sure to include your child’s name and age.
We look forward to meeting your curious kids!
