Preface of EMS Solution
• Telecom Companies are facing diesel pilferage as well as electricity pilferage on
their sites. Reduction of diesel consumption is the major challenge in front of
telecom operators.
• Utility electricity meters get burnt /non functional on site, average billing is
done by utility. Data recorded by utility meter (load profile, daily consumption
etc) is not shared to operators for energy audit purpose.
• Cosmo has innovative metering solution which is capable to enable the tower
companies to overcome the challenges.

AMR - Solution
• Automatic meter reading solution for telecom sites can help Tower companies
by providing accurate energy billing of every tower towards each power source ,
enabling them to capture run hours reporting by power sources defined on the
Cosmo web portal.

16. Criteria and Selection of Sites:
sites were chosen having exorbitant electricity bills and diesel
consumption and the results were shocking related to diesel
pilferage and waste of EB supply.
Graphical analysis helped Customer to find out tampering like single
phasing/ external source using/ contactor hold at low EB etc.
Graphical presentation shows that sites were running manually and
the hygiene of site was not maintained.
With these facts customer can understand that mostly sites are
running by EB but OME partner is claiming huge diesel at these sites.
• Diesel is being provided to OME at actual DG run hrs.
