2. Urinary bladder
The urinary bladder, is a hollow muscular
organ that stores urine from the kidneys
before disposal by urination.
It lies in pelvic cavity.

3. SIZE : It depends on the amount of urine
present in urinary bladder.
SHAPE : The empty bladder is tetrahedral
in shape.
It becomes round when its full.
POSITION : Lies entirely in pelvis in adults.
Extends to lower abdomen when
it's full.
It's in abdomen in a child.

In males, it is separated from rectum by rectovesical
pouch.
In females it is related to anterior wall of vagina.

Lowest and most fixed part of bladder.

•Arterial supply :
It is by inferior vesical, obturator, inferior gluteal
arteries.
Uterine and vaginal arteries in females.
•Venous drainage :
Drains into internal iliac veins.
•Lymphatic drainage :
Drains into external iliac nodes.
