WILL POWER
Willpower is a form of
inner strength, expressed
as the determination to act
and carry out plants and
decisions, despite internal
resistance, laziness,
discomfort or external
obstacles.
Can make lazy person active.
Helps us to do what we want to do.
Helps us to achieve our goals,
Can get us out of addictions or habit
Helps us to be self disciplined.
Helps us in turning will to did (“I will do this” to “I did
this”)
It helps us in getting skills
like disciplined,
intelligence, learning,
working, exercising,
Logical reasoning,
Meditation, prayer etc.
We miss to pay our bills on
time despite having funds.
We want to do some tasks but
unable to start despite having
time and resources.
We are often and continuously
not acting on feedback or
feelings from our innerself.
a. We have to reach class at 9 am, and for this we need to get up
at 7 am, but we are getting up at 8:30 am and blaming
everything else for being late. In real it is lack of will power.
b. We want to start doing exercise or meditation daily since so
long that we don’t even remember. But we blame it on lack of
time, in real it is lack of will power.
BUT HOW?
Set small goals.
Enjoy success.
Set bigger goal
Enjoy even more depending
how low is your will power,
we need to start with very
small goal and gradually
increase our goal.
We need to get up at 6 am but we are getting up at 8
am
Set target for 7, reward ourselves for successfully
getting up at 7 by simple things like saying positive
words about ourselves.
Do it continuously 3-4 times, then reduce target by
30 minutes till we reach our target of 6 am.
Through achieving any goals helps us in improving
our will power. Meditation and body fitness exercise
helps much more than any usual goals.
Meditation and physical exercise cause a chain
reaction wherein we do meditation because of will
power comes because of meditation.
Many people start doing actions when they are left
with no choices.
Success achieved on those actions results in
improvement of will power.
In some people it results Depression due to failure of
action.
TTD helps in big way both in terms of setting goals
and achieving them.
In start do not put anything which we can not
achieve easily.
Slowly this will be our habit.
Will power can only ensure
that we make the required
efforts. Required efforts
play a big role in being
rich and successful.
It is neither good to speak a lot nor it is good to keep
ultimate silence.
Neither very heavy rain is good, nor extreme sun
shine.
