GGAG has been manufacturing gears since 40 years
and prides itself in delivering precise, high quality and
cost-effective products
In-house facilities: Turning, Hobbing, Grinding, Heat-
treatment – 30,000 sq. ft. facility to incorporate all
operations under a single roof
Capable of manufacturing spur and helical gears up to
1500 mm in diameter and 25 module, hardened & ground
to DIN class 3/4 accuracy
Infrastructure|Gear Division
Gear Grinding: Hofler-make Rapid 800 ,Helix 400, Rapid 1250
Hobbing/Teeth Cutting: Hofler-make HF 600, HF1250 & conventional machinery
Turning: CNC VTLs, VTMCs, VMCs, CNC Lathes & conventional machinery
Heat Treatment: Total of 6 pit-type furnaces, horizontal and vertical
tempering furnaces, & muffle furnaces
Gear Testing: State-of-the-art Klingelnberg P100 for inspection and quality control
of components
Bore/Face Grinding: WMW CNC Bore Grinders, cylindrical grinders
Other Equipment: Radial Drilling machines, teeth chamfering machines, facing &
centering machines, horizontal milling machines amongst others

Hard-Finish Machining (1/2)
New Investments to reduce our bottlenecks & better our finishing (bore/face
grinding) processes:
 DVS Technology Group (Pittler) U-Grind
A flexible machine for the hard-fine machining of shafts and chucking components
with a centre width of up to 1800 mm and a centre height of 350 mm. Work
pieces weighing up to 150 kg can be machined on the DVS Ugrind.
GGAG is proud to be a pioneer in India for these machining capabilities
This machine is GGAG’s latest addition in its technical prowess & is to be
commissioned in June 2019 – the machine will be apt for shaft type components
of the aforementioned size

grinding and hard part turning for components up to
1200 mm in diameter
 DVS/Pittler UGrind – for pinions & shafts up to 350 mm

Introduction|Gear Division GGAG has been manufacturing gears since 40 years and prides itself in delivering precise, high quality and cost-effective products In-house facilities: Turning, Hobbing, Grinding, Heat- treatment – 30,000 sq. ft. facility to incorporate all operations under a single roof Capable of manufacturing spur and helical gears up to 1500 mm in diameter and 25 module, hardened & ground to DIN class 3/4 accuracy

Infrastructure|Gear Division Gear Grinding: Hofler-make Rapid 800 ,Helix 400, Rapid 1250 Hobbing/Teeth Cutting: Hofler-make HF 600, HF1250 & conventional machinery Turning: CNC VTLs, VTMCs, VMCs, CNC Lathes & conventional machinery Heat Treatment: Total of 6 pit-type furnaces, horizontal and vertical tempering furnaces, & muffle furnaces Gear Testing: State-of-the-art Klingelnberg P100 for inspection and quality control of components Bore/Face Grinding: WMW CNC Bore Grinders, cylindrical grinders Other Equipment: Radial Drilling machines, teeth chamfering machines, facing & centering machines, horizontal milling machines amongst others

Heat Treatment • In-house heat treatment facility with furnaces capable of carrying out hardening, tempering and carburizing processes • Our furnaces are equipped to handle components up to 1200 mm in diameter and 1600 mm in length. • 6 nos. pit-type furnaces • Tempering Furnace • Muffle Furnace • Washing Machine Tank • Oil Quenching Tank • Normalising furnaces
  • 10. Hobbing • CNC Hobbing set up for components up to 35 Module and 1600 mm in diameter, with internal teeth cutting capability between 500-1000 mm  Hofler/Klingelnberg HF600  Klingelnberg HF 1250L

Hard-Finish Machining (1/2) New Investments to reduce our bottlenecks & better our finishing (bore/face grinding) processes:  DVS Technology Group (Pittler) U-Grind A flexible machine for the hard-fine machining of shafts and chucking components with a centre width of up to 1800 mm and a centre height of 350 mm. Work pieces weighing up to 150 kg can be machined on the DVS Ugrind. GGAG is proud to be a pioneer in India for these machining capabilities This machine is GGAG’s latest addition in its technical prowess & is to be commissioned in June 2019 – the machine will be apt for shaft type components of the aforementioned size

Hard-Finish Machining (2/2) CNC & conventional set up for hard finishing/post heat treatment operations such as bore grinding,face grinding and hard part turning for components up to 1200 mm in diameter  DVS/Pittler UGrind – for pinions & shafts up to 350 mm in diameter  CNC Bore & Face Grinders – for large gearwheels up to 1200 mm in diameter  Cylindrical Grinders

Gear Grinding • CNC Gear Grinding set up adequate for single ribbed profile grinding of teeth capable of grinding components up to 1500 mm in diameter and 1200 mm in length, 35 in module & DIN 4 in terms of quality class. Internal grinding available from 500-100 mm in diameter  Hofler Rapid 800  Hofler Helix 400  Klingelnberg Rapid 1250K
