Project liason for MenB vaccine: represents the serology unit in the team and in the project,
analyze and report serological experimental data to Senior Management,participate to relevant
meeting and assist management in the preparation of answers to questions from authorities related
to immunoassay performance.
Support clinical serology department in phaseII/phaseIII trial related activity and perform
immunoassays (hSBA analysis) on human sera from clinical trial.
Ensure that the experimental documentation comply with the Regulatory and Patent
Departments requirements (write development protocols, reports, SOPs, validation documents and
history files related to immunoassays)
Support test development, validation, transfer and implementation of new technologies, intended to
improve assay performances.
Manage and organize activity for collection and selection of complement for immunoassays
Serve as recognized expert in the set-up, maintenance and implementation of a Database for
the collection and quality check of serological data
Supervise and perform activity to collect and catalogue human and animal samples in
compliance with procedure in place.
Perform immunoassays (SBA, ELISA, FACS, competitive SBA) to select antigen candidates,
adjuvants, formulation and immunization schedule to improve MenB vaccine and to determine
immunogenicity and stability of clinical lots
Perform binding assays to determine the adhesion level of different Neisseria strains to
endothelial cells and cytotoxicity assays to determine the damage caused by Neisseria strains
to endothelial cells.
