This document outlines an activity and lesson objectives about volcanoes. The activity involves students answering 15 multiple choice questions by unscrambling jumbled letters within 30 seconds each. The objectives are for students to be able to describe types of volcanoes, differentiate between active and inactive volcanoes, explain volcanic eruptions, and illustrate how volcanic energy can be used by humans. Students will also construct a concept map of volcanoes and research volcanic activity in the Philippines.
4. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lessons, the student should be able to:
Describe the different types of volcanoes
Differentiate between active and inactive volcanoes
Explain what happens when volcanoes erupt
Illustrate how energy from volcanoes may be tapped
for human use
48. MECHANICS:
1.Each student must prepare a ¼ sheet of clean paper with name on top
of it. Below the name will be the Year and Section.
2.Numbering their papers from 1 to 15.
3.The teacher will read the question twice. After reading the question
there will be jumbled letters presented on the PowerPoint
presentation. Timer will start as soon as the teacher has a go signal.
Every item is given only 30 seconds to answer the question. The
jumbled letters is already a hint so there is no way the student will not
answer every items.

64. Construction of Concept Map of Volcano
Direction: In 5 minutes, construct your concept map
of what you have learned in this lesson.
65. ASSIGNMENT
Research on volcanic activities happened in the
Philippines and make a timeline. Illustrate how
energy from volcanoes may be tapped for human use
