Summary Background Almaz Demessie is graduated from the University of Reading in Tropical Agricultural Development (UK) in August 2002. She has been working in Agro met section of National Meteorological Agency of Ethiopia since 1987 up to April 2007 as a Team leader of Agro meteorology Section and in charge of the agro meteorological research activities at the Agency. Besides, she was teaching agro meteorology courses in the training activities of meteorological personnel at the Agency and Universities including other higher institutions.
