2. What it means to be honest?
Honesty means showing how
we truly think and feel about
something and acting in a way
that reflects these thoughts
and feeling.

3. Getting Ready
Whenever we talk with other people, we like them
to speak the truth and only the truth. In return,
they also want us to do the same for them.This
shows the importance of being honest at all the
times.
If we are honest, we show to other people
who are really are and how we feel about
something or situation.We also show that we can
be trusted. Being honest is being sincere in
everything that we do – in our mind, heart, actions.

4. Learning What is Good
Being honest at all times is easier said than done.There are
times that we feel like taking that easy way out than working
hard.When do we find it hard to be honest? It is hard to be
honest when we are afraid of punishment.We also choose to lie
when we do not want to disappoint or sadden someone we
love.We choose to cheat when do not want to be laughed at.
However, let us remember that being dishonest gets us out of
trouble, but honesty gets us trust, respect, and peace of mind.

5. Now I Know
It is often said that the truth will set us free.There may
be truth to these words because being honest with my
thoughts, feelings, and actions frees me from sadness
and fear. Being able to say how I really feel and what I
think lets me sleep well at night because I have nothing
to hide. I am also confident that people will like me for
who I really am by putting my real self out there. Surely,
there will be people who will feel like I am too honest for
my own good, but being honest and true will help me
gain real friends.

6. Whoever speaks the truth gives honest
evidence, but a false witness utters deceit.
