• DMO of SUM* tool has performed system migrations for 25 years, but it requires the
source and target to sit close to each other in the same data center
• DMO with System Move of SUM tool separates the extract process from the import,
allowing the source and the target to be separated. This allows customers to rent test
servers by the hour to control the cost and flexibility
• DMO with System Move of SUM tool does not modify the source system, meaning
customers can run test migrations on their production systems with production data
