Clinical Focus: The Role of the Registered Nurse in the Community
Rotation included Cardiac Rehab, Home-Based Care, Radiation Oncology, Diabetes Education in the Primary Care
setting, and Community Service. Provided blood glucose and blood pressure screening and education to
underserved adult population at Manna on Main Street (Lansdale, PA). As a Manager of Care, organized and
managed team of six nursing students at Community Wellness Fair sponsored by the Blue Bell Rotary Club.
Provided nursing education to the community on men’s and women’s health.
PENN FOUNDATION –Behavioral Health Services, Sellersville, PA 3/2016 – 5/2016
Clinical Practicum: Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Detoxification
Provided assessments and administered medication as ordered to forty inpatient clients during “morning med
pass.” Charted dosage and patient response accurately. Prepared age appropriate, culturally sensitive educational
