Research Analysis
What common features do the researched products have?
They all include the same topic: Fashion, and advertise it to some extent to help the
audience with their lifestyles and figures. They also all have probably been made in a
studio of some sort, full of high technology that associates with qualified photographers.
Next, they all seem to intertwine feelings within the fashion and layout from what the
figures are in foreground.
What aspects of the research will you include within your on work?
I will incorporate the main factors within my work:
• Type of content- studio/location photography, articles, reviews, adverts
• Conventions – colour schemes, photography, writing style, text/picture ratio, font
choices, mode of address
• Codes – Written, symbolic
I will make sure by using these elements, the audience will love my magazine and get
into what is going on within the magazine, most likely an inspiration if you will. I will use
the fashion theme to promote the wellbeing of fashionistas and how they promote to
sustain a good figure.
