My research interests lie at the intersections of nineteenth century literature, postcolonial studies, and digital humanities. Recent publications include articles on Joseph Conrad, Jane Austen, and digital pedagogy. In addition to my faculty position, I am also Director of Whittier's Digital Liberal Arts Center (DigLibArts), which is initially funded by a $750,000 grant from the Mellon Foundation. DigLibArts supports digital scholarship across the disciplines, with a special focus on digital pedagogies.
