Our Expertise
‘With over 40 years of experience’
Dry bulk liners are an ideal cost effective way to ship most free flowing granular
and powder products for both the food and chemical industries.
Light weight and convenient, our single-trip disposable dry bulk liners offer a contamination
free bulk transport system when combined with either an ISO shipping container or bulker
container.
Philton have two manufacturing facilities based in Europe and Asia, and are ideally placed
to serve the world markets.
Both plants benefit from innovative leading edge manufacturing technology as well as first
class test facilities. Both plants were amongst the first in the industry to develop and register
their quality standards under the ISO Q.A. certification scheme, with the UK plant becoming
accredited to ISO9001 in 1989.
Our liners are used by many of the worlds leading food and chemical manufacturers.
Container Liner Sizes and Styles
Container Liners are suspended inside 20’, 30’, 40’ and 45’ containers using elastics,
bungees and eyelets. Loading can be carried out by gravity from overhead Silos, using top
filling hatches in a bulker container roof or through the doors of a standard or high cube
ISO container using a conveyor, belt or paddle thrower.
Loading Systems
Liners can be inflated with air or an inert gas such as nitrogen before loading.
Liners are fitted with a wide variety of top or end filling spout options to correspond with
the loading equipment being used.
Alternatively wide access zippers and open ended liners for drive-in loading can be
manufactured.
Once filled, the loading spout/s are closed and sealed, and the liner becomes
contamination free, protecting both the product inside the liner and the container.
Discharge Systems
Containers are discharged on a tipping chassis or tipping platform. Discharge spouts of
various shapes and sizes can be incorporated to meet customer specific requirements and
systems.

static and aluminium foil liners are also available for safety and product protection.

any adverse health effects), or by recycling by an approved recycling contractor to make
downstream products. The materials can also be incinerated thereby giving a valuable form
of energy.
