Re: Seeking Nominations by April 16, 2012
We are excited to announce the launch of The Paradigm Project for Jewish Early Childhood
Education Leadership. The Project is an initiative that aims to shift the current paradigm of Jewish
Early Childhood Education by creating local Communities of Practice in three communities across
North America: Orange County, CA; Greater Miami; and Boston.
Do you know a thinking, promising educator whom you can nominate to join our Community
of Learners? If so, please email us any names and contact information.
The Communities of Practice will focus on the exploration of core Jewish values and Best Practices
and will produce a network of colleagues who maintain trusting relationships and a shared
language and vision. The end goal is to educate and energize a new generation of leaders who will
ensure that centers around the country are getting the attention and care that they need, so that
they may be places for families and children alike to begin and continue their Jewish journeys.
Each of the three Communities of Practice will meet and study together four times between May
and December 2012.
Nominees must have been in the field of early childhood education for at least one year, should
have a Jewish background, and should exhibit basic leadership skills.
Participation in The Paradigm Project for Jewish Early Childhood Education Leadership has no
financial commitment; the cost of the program is made possible by funds granted by the Covenant
Foundation.
