Sit down with your partner and ask yourselve s:

• Approximat ely how many guests are you inviting?
2. BOOK YOUR VENUE
Some venues book out years in advance and many vendors
will require your venue details to provide an accurate
quote. When booking your venue ask plenty of questions

• What’s included in the hire?
• How long will you have the space for?
• How many guests can your venue accommodat e ?
3. START SELECTING YOUR SUPPLIERS
Once you have locked in your date and venue, it’s time to

9. BAEDEKER
Travel back in time to this urban sanctuary located in
Fortitude Valley. Baedeke r is one of Brisbane ’s most
unique wedding venues with its history dating back
to 1909. Baedeker offers four versatil e indoor and
outdoor spaces that can suit many styles. From
intimate seated dining experien c e s, a garden party
with your favourite pet, or create an exclusi ve use
cocktail party to rememb er for up to 250 friends.
BRISBANE POWERHOUSE
With views of the Brisbane River on one side and New
Farm Park on the other, Brisbane Powerhouse is one
of Brisbane’ s most magnific en t venues. This 1920’ s
building was originally a power station but was
