Celebrated fashion designer turned fine
artist, Sara Berman invites Quintessentially
Art Patrons to Slade’s Annual Degree Show

way we ‘curate’ our interior environments
to reflect our identity, Berman will exhibit a
series of stunning paintings and sculptures
that reveal her distinctive visual language.
An exciting emerging artist, she has already
garnered commercial and institutional
success with her inclusion in the BP Portrait
Award in 2015 at the National Portrait
Gallery and her rising intstagram sensation
status.

7. MONA HATOUM AT THE
TATE MODERN
Join our specialist for a guided tour of
‘Mona Hatoum’ at the Tate Modern. This
is the artist’s first major survey in the UK,
spanning 35 years from her early radical
performance and video pieces, to sculptures
and large-scale installations. Generating
conflicting emotions of fear and fascination,
the installations comprise strands of hair,
barbed wire, domestic objects and a cage-
like neon globe which buzzes with an intense
and seemingly dangerous energy.

AND CELEBRITY STYLIST
SERA OF LONDON
Time: 3pm
With celebrity clients ranging from Kate
Moss, Courtney Love, Yoko Ono and the
late Amy Winehouse, Sera of London will
open her private home to Quintessentially
Art Patrons. Sera lives her ‘Passion’ and
decorates homes and spaces that are
widely romantic, infused with a spirit of
artistic reverie. Evoking a unique style that
is once romantic and totally decadent, Sera
will discuss her unique interior decorating
style and the stories behind each piece
she chooses to live with. During the talk,
we will gain insight into cross-collecting
trends and how interior objects are
increasingly perceived as collectable art in
the contemporary art world. The talk will
begin with champagne and afternoon tea
refreshments in Sera’s dreamy abode.
