This document discusses pronunciation of words ending in "ed". It notes that there are three sounds for words ending in "ed": /d/ if the present tense verb ends in a voiced sound; /t/ if the present tense ends in voiceless sound; and /id/ if the present tense ends in /t/ or /d/.
