I fell in love with art while I was in high school. The first time that I threw on the wheel, I was addicted. I followed my passion for the arts through college. I studied and worked in the Interior Design field. One semester short of gaining my associates degree, I gave birth to my daughter. She was a surprise and a blessing o me at the age of twenty. Over the past 11 years, she and I have explored learning and grown together. She has been my inspiration and has given me the courage to teach. I learned that the only path for my life is to submerge myself into art education. I have come from a family full of teachers and artists whom have been a constant source of encouragement and support.
