5. Boost warranty compensation of a PV System
Cleanergetic helped a leading asset owner to prove
and quantify the energy harvest loss due to a module
quality defect. We created a new performance indi-
cator, not available in the monitoring system, able to
identify and measure energy performance defects.
With that information, our customer had legal evi-
dence on the economical damage and could acceler-
ate the warranty compensation of a multimegawatt
photovoltaic system with 30% power degradation.
Maximizing turbines availability in wind assets
A large wind operator was facing availability issues
due to large repair time, incorrect corrective mainte-
nance and improper spare parts inventory. Customer
had difficulties identifying specific areas of improve-
ment and quantifying the loss of revenue per catego-
ry. Data was very heterogeneous. We helped to iden-
tify improvements in the maintenance procedures,
contractors that required better training and capabil-
ities, the optimal inventory and ways to keep meas-
uring service levels for future operations. Customer
is now implementing changes and we are supporting
with in-depth analysis to improve.
Big data applied to Big Buildings: save energy
30% of global energy consumption is in buildings and
more in future. Some customers have energy bills
larger than 1mUSD. Stream analytics is used to con-
trol optimal temperature setpoints using weather
forecast and room occupation to minimize energy
consumption at lowest hourly electricity price.
Smart meters: predicting customers habits
Using Machine Learning to understand customers
consumption behavior and providing an artificially
intelligent way to recommend changes in behaviors
to achieve their desired monthly expenditure. We
build algorithms that can learn from data and make
