26. SKIN :- Skin is the thin layer of
tissue forming the natural
outer covering of the body
of a person. It is the largest
organ of the body. It
protects us from external
elements and helps to
regulate body temperature.
27. TYPE OF SKIN:- Skin may be categorized into the
following types.
(i) NORMAL SKIN :- An individual having
normal skin generally experiences a facial
complexion that is clear in appearance with
none to very little blemishes. The elasticity
of the skin is tight and smooth.
HOME REMEDIES FOR NORMAL SKIN:
To keep the normal skin blemish free and
well hydrated, one should drink a lot of
water and should eat fresh vegetables and
fruits. Sunscreen should be used whenever
the skin is exposed to sun for prevention of
premature ageing.
Honey with mashed up ripe banana is
a good home-made face pack. This pack
should be applied over the face and should
be left for 20 minutes. Then it should be
removed with lukewarm water.
28. (ii) DRY SKIN :- The body produces different natural
oils that keep the skin moist and soft. When the
amount of oil produced by the body is reduced, the
skin becomes dry. Dry skin becomes very itchy and
painful due to the absence of moisture.
HOME REMEDIES OF DRY SKIN:
To get rid of the dry skin, one should drink
plenty of water and should use moisturiser to fulfil
the scarcity of moisture in the skin.
Curd makes for an excellent skin hydrant
and its anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory properties
will help soothe dry and ithcy skin. Curd should be
applied as it is or should be mixed with some honey
and a few drops of lime. The pack should be left for
10 minutes and then it should be washed-off.
29. (iii) OILY SKIN :- When the skin oozes out
excess oil, it causes a shiny and wet
appearance to the skin. Such type of skin is
termed as “Oily skin”.
HOME REMEDIES FOR OILY SKIN
The person who has an oily skin
should wash it frequently to keep it clean. In
order to remove the extra oil from one’s facial
skin, one should apply the yolk of an egg on
the oily skin. Let it remain on your skin for
about 15 minutes. After that, it should be
washed-off properly with cold water. The
property of an egg yolk mask is that it dries
out the skin, thus one can get rid and relief
from excessive oiliness.
30. (iv) COMBINATION SKIN:- This is a type
of facial complexion characterized by an
oily forehead, nose & chin and relatively
dry cheeks.
HOME REMEDIES FOR COMBINATION
SKIN
This type of skin is very
common. The skin should be cleaned
twice a day with cleansing milk or mild
glycerine soap and to wipe off with
cotton & rose water. One should also
use half tea spoonful honey and one tea
spoonful lime juice on his face, The
honey will act as moisturiser.
31. MY SKIN
My skin is oily skin. During the summer season, I do
not use any skin as the skin becomes more oily. But,
during the winter, I use LAKME Peach Milk Moisturiser
and L’OREAL Pearl Perfect Day cream SPF-15.
However, I regularly use JOHNSON & JOHNSON’S
Clean & Clear face wash to wash my face. I also use
LOTUS Scrubber once in a week to keep my face neat
and clean.
MY PRODUCTS:-
C- CLEANSER.
T- TONER.
M- MOISTURISER.
P- PROTECTION ( FROM SUN).

32. HAIR:- Any of the
numerous fine, usually
cyndrical keratinous
filaments growing from
the skin is commonly
known as hair. It is mainly
found in the mammals.
TYPES OF HAIR:- Hair
may be categorized into
the following types.
33. Normal Hair :- This type of
hair is most common. This
type of hair is not too fine or
coarse. Normal hair is the
most manageable hair type
with largest range of possible
styles. Proper styling tools
with varying heats are crucial
for keeping a health-looking
shine.
34. DRY HAIR :- When oil and
moisture escapes from hair, it
becomes dry and lacks the
shine and soft texture. As the
tissue worsens, hair becomes
brittle and dull. At some point
of time, dry hair becomes
inevitable as over-processing
or elevated exposure to sun
and wind causes hair damage.
35. OILY HAIR :- Hair which
develops a lank, flat,
stringy or oily
appearance is often
termed as “ Oily” or
“Greasy” hair. This type
of hair is hard to
control, clumps
together easily and
does not hold a style
well.
36. HOME REMEDIES FOR HAIR:-
There are some effective home-made hair
packs which should be applied on the hairs to
make it clean and healthy.
Take mehendi powder and add egg, amla
powder, coffee, lemon ( if dandruff is present) and
apply it on hair for an hour. One may also use
pasted methi seeds overnight on hair and wash it
when it gets dried.. Curd mixed-up with smashed
banana is also a good pack for hair.

day with shampoo and conditioner. I use hair gel, too.

WHY DO YOU THINK IT IS IMPORTANT TO PRESENT
YOURSELF AS A PROFESSIONAL IN AN INTERVIEW:
It is very important to present someone as a professional
in an interview because the first impression is the “LAST
IMPRESSION”. The world take someone seriously when he is well
groomed. A properly groomed person having professional
attitude is capable of drawing the attention of everyone and thus
he is always a long step ahead than the ordinary ones as regards
to his profession. A person having professional attitude always
dresses himself as per the occasion or requirement and not as
per his desire. In a short span of time he gains a popularity within
the industry among his superiors and colleagues and success will
be at his doorsteps.
